now, my tuner wanted to set me up with a gt30r .63, with 278/274 cosworths. i said no way to the .63, and got the .82.

now the cams, i still think 278/274 are to big for the gt30r .82

this car is only my fun car, canyons, freeway runs, little drags, dirt, autoX (fo fun), all around. what do you think i need 264/264, no cams, what?

thanks

I have no personal experience but my gut feeling is that those cams are too big for a 30r. Stock cams are probably all you need for a 30r but there's gotta be power to be made running the 264's.

I support your tuner on the .63 and suggest the GSC cams. We did make a few other changes, but going from the Cosworths to the GSC's opened our power curve in both directions (under boost theshold and over 6k rpm)
