Default Pauter or Manely rods

Did a search didnt find anything on them. Which would you use for an engine build?

pauter. period.

they are some of the absolute best rods for our subaru's. Don't even think twice if you "have" to have rod's.

Manly can make some good stuff.

Note that I didn't say anything bad about them. The OP was asking for opinons

I know the motor you have, has manley's.

Last I heard, ARFab was using Manley's. I didn't think they like eagles at all

I'd bet you have Manley's

Im sure you have a build number and whatnot that you can call and ask. I'm surprised you didn't get a sheet.

i have a spec sheet with the bearing and piston clearances, but nothing about the piston dish, deck clearance or parts used. im guessing at .0045" piston to wall clearance, its going to be a rattler when its cold!

When I first started talking to AR Fab about my motor Howard stressed that he never uses Eagles. He also made it a point that the Manley H-beams are made in the USA. Eagle, Scat, Crower econo billets are all made at the same plant in China.

Back on topic, my next motor will have Pauters. Pauters all the way, best design out there! I'm also using them in my best friends 2.0 LS/VTEC GT40R setup.
