bro u have to get a life.. make one thread.... u just opened another thread about a completely different turbo kit. U have to make up your mind. and dont turn this into another nasioc situation where the mods were locking ur threads and telling u what to do.

once again what the f*ck are your goals for the car and what is your budget?

Dude I have life and don't worry about whether I have one or not. And I dont even know why you came outta nowhere with that. Well the thing is I havent really made up my mind a twin turbo solution may be better since the car would spool up faster. But i'm not sure how well one would work for high hp compared to one large single turbo kit. Or weather the twin turbo kit from forced air tech would be a better solution. But yea my goals are to have a sti around 700 whp for now and have it be a street/highway daily driving car with a fat powerband in most gears.

honestly u have the wrong platform for 700 whp. u are better off with a 350z, skyline, silva (with an rb motor), or supra. u would get to ur goal alot easier. and u would get ur fat power band.

on these cars that kinda power is not going to equate to driveablity. ur powerband is goin to be very small. because regardless using twin gt30rs or just a massive 40-42r ur going to have alot of lag. 400-500whp on a 30r or 35r is a good street subaru

one other question have u ever driven a 400+ whp subaru?

OP, all it will take you is 25k, numerous years without your car, and ALOT of headaches.

But you can get it done. Be ready to drive your car in 2010 if you start tomorrow.

I have actually driven a friends 2.8 gt35r sti who was around 600 whp and I dont remeber exactly but it might have been more. But I do remember the car being redicously fast when he let me drive it. Oh and by the way the kid loved changing his body kit wheels lights etc like every week I saw him. So you already know he's got lots of money.

to the OP, daily driving a 700whp car isn't really the most pleasurable experience due to the clutch required to hold that much power along with the cam/idle setup along with the injector setup. Not to mention the power band of the car. That being said, I'm in the process of a gt4088r build which includes a fully built AR Fab motor and full-race exhaust manifold, and tons of other parts when you look at fueling and engine management. I would not recommend this build for a daily driver due to the complexity of the build and the increased chances of something going wrong with the car. Not to mention the fact that the build could easily take a year, maybe even 6 months if it is done efficiently and everything is planned out correctly. Like I said on nasioc, talk to AR Fab, he'll get you thinking in the right direction at least.

The answer to your question is no, we made 775WHP using a GT40R with NOS on a OEM STI block. It ran 9.5 @ 150mph and the block held up perfect!

Video; Crawford Performance

Good luck with your build

Will a stock block continue to hold up to this kind of abuse daily? I only ask because you are sighting a race team as an example, and a race cars engine is usually rebuilt quite often as compared to the average joes car. At what point does your shop sleeve a block? I would assume every shops opinion on this matter is going to be different.

What internals were used and for how long was the stock block used for without sleves? And what was the redline? Thanks.

Nah rwd sucks balls for handling and wheather changes especially if it has slicks on it to make all that power stick. And the torque steer on one those boats your referring to is scary and very dangerous compared to an sti. My boy had a mustang gt with a supercharger with around 500 whp and he had drag slick on his car he went to accelerate on the highway one day when the roads were slighty damp and the car wanted to run into the median i was scared ****less.
