Basically soemtimes after driving, at anywhere from 30-50mph, my wheels squeak while just curising along. This does NOT happen under brakeing. Seems to be coming from the front left, and soemtimes the front right. I have autocrossed the car about 10 times now, and have done 1 driving school/track day. I took my pads out, and cleaned the pads, rotors, and caliper for both the front left and right wheels. Put everything back together and all was great, until 30 min later it started to squeak again. As I go faster, the squeak gets louder. The car only has 15k on it so I can't imagine it's wheel bearings. I checked for free play and there didn't seem to by any. Could it just be my pads or rotors? I have included a picture of my front left pads for reference. They look like they have plenty of life left in them, but I just wanted to confirm with you guys that they do. Any ideas? I searched, and some people have had issues with their pads and rotors, but what seems to cause this? The car stops on a dime... Thanks! This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | I just got the same noise today. I'm gonna have my pads changed out. Maybe it had something to do with beating down some Mustang today. It was funny, guy had a metal name plate on the back that said "bullit" lol This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
