So I ended up with the powerslots anyway since the prices were still such a huge jump. Still in break-in period but I love it already...(just wish they weren't slotted). Also did a full brake fluid flush and put on speed bleeders as well. I'll let you guys now how they hold up...especially at the autox.

Holy wheel droop Batman!

I'm mostly impressed by how clean your calipers are, nice job!

lol, thanks. just passed 250 miles on the break in. Says 2-500 so I suppose I will be at this weekend's autox. The brakes are so touchy now. lol. I feel like I'm left foot braking...still can't get the braking right. I'm always pressing too hard and jerking the car. But they work great. Def a lot of squeaking when braking but stops once they warm up it seems.

Tirerack.com is the best place I have found to get Powerslots.

Alright guys...finally broke them in and took the car to a practice day. Did quite a few laps on it and they definitely are a big improvement from the oem setup (although this can be due to other things such as older brake fluid...etc).

Rotors also heated up quite a bit...I noticed smoke coming out of my wheels after a few sessions and it was the synthetic grease used to put on the pads...i put a lot of extra greese all over...such as the pins, back part of pads, clips..etc. stopped smoking after all that burnt up. :P

Anyway, overall I'm happy with the setup for DD and occasional autox. I was starting to get worried about the squeaking as it got really bad near the end of the break in. But after a good days of autox, the squeaking is back down to minimum again. Only squeaks at certain brake peddal pressure. Not too annoying for me.
