"Stock SRT-10 rotors weigh 27 pounds, and Stoptech's carbon rotor weighs a featherweight 9.5 lb."
Almost 3 times lighter. Thats absolutely awesome!

Pricing hasnt been set yet but is expected to be similar to that of Porsche and Ferrari ceramic systems. One of the main benefits of our ceramic systems is that they will be designed to use the same components as existing iron parts allowing you to convert an existing iron kit to ceramic without the need to prucahse a whole new brake system. The main advantage of ceramic is of course the reduced mass which makes them weigh about half of our iron rotors of the same size. Thermal mass is reduced by half, but since the specific heat of our ceramic formula is about 4 times that of our gray iron, our ceramic system will theoretically have double the heat capacity of an iron system of the same size. Were not sure when parts will be available, but have been testing the parts on the StopTech C5 Z06 and have had great results so far. Another set of rotors should be on my sales manager's C5 Z06 who has our 4 wheel BBK installed for further testing as we get out to the track quite a bit. On the StopTech Z06, we saw about a 35 pound reduction in rotating mass by replacing all four cornerrs with the 355x32mm ceramic rotors. That car also has magnesium BBS wheels for a combined reduction of almost 100 pounds of rotating mass while maintaining excellent heat capacity and peformance.

Heres a picture of the test platform:

The car is also supercharged, runs basically straight exhaust (borla 3" bullet mufflers) and puts out 550/550 to the wheels
