be sure to properly bed your pads to them. You don't want to have to get something that nice turned in the near future.

Oh, and I'm curious as to where you picked them up. If the vendor did you right then do the vendor a favor and post up a review.

The 2 piece DBA 5000's only weigh ~1lb less than stock (per rotor). I was going to buy them until I found that out. Performance Friction 2 piece rotors are about the same price and weigh ~4lbs less than stock (per rotor).

i'll do a weight difference tomorrow, but I don't think there's a big difference between these and stock like import111 said. The vendor that I got them through I do not recommend for future purchases, however his distributor got in contact with me and resolved the issue. That distributor has since become a vendor, WRXBRAKES. Great guy to work with, for how much I paid pm me or pm ken at wrxbrakes.

Oh and the bed in will be interesting as I had to my new pads on my old grooved rotors about two weeks ago due to a delay in the rotors (from the original vendor). So I'm hoping the pads aren't grooved at all and will bed well to the new rotors.

Ah! We know Ken well. He's does good work.

If the pads are really ridged you can flatten them a bit with a bastard file. In a pinch a sidewalk will work too (do in front of the neighbor's house that you don't like). If you do resort to the sidewalk be sure to clean any grit or sand left on the pad faces.

Ken is great - I would recommend anyone with an interest in dba rotors or the such to him.

I will definitely be ready to smooth the pads a bit, but I think I should be okay as the pads are only two weeks old on the old rotors.... a good hard break in should do the trick. However i'll keep the neighbors driveway in mind haha =)
