okay let me take a stab at this, however, I do need to let you know I have never done it myself and will be attempting some adjustment this weekend for the first time.

First, if your brakes are wearing down, this may be part of the cause for the ebrake to wear down. Now STi's use drum style ebrakes. The contact surface is actually on the inside of the rear rotor hub. This can wear down some as the brakes overall wear. This can cause some play in the lever.

If your brakes do not need to be changed, then there is an adjustment underneath the center console at the base of the ebrake. By tightening the adjustment screw you can tighten up the ebrake.

see this thread for some info http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2779
