I read that alot of people are having problems with braking when they are driving in wet weather conditions. I was wondering if anyone came up with a solution to the problem or at least determined the absolute cause? If SOA has said anything regarding people who have experienced this problem? And if there were any aftermarket brake kits that utilized vented rotors which might help to dissapate the between the rotor and the pads?

I have drilled rotors and drove them hard through both rain and snowy conditions without any performance loss. In those types of conditions it's the ABS that really does all the work. BTW, I'll have a cool cut-off switch soon

2003 – 2004 Subaru WRX STI

Hello everyone. I can provide you with cross-drilled or slotted rotors at very low prices. I have 10 sets of rotors available for the 2002 – 2004 Subaru WRX STI. The rotors can either be drilled only, slotted only, dimpled, or combination of either. The prices and dimensions of the rotors are as follow:

Front X-Drilled Slotted Rotor = $200.00/ per rotor
-Outside Diameter = 326mm
-Height = 53mm
-Bolt Pattern = 5-100mm

Rear X-Drilled Slotted Rotor = $200.00/ per rotor
-Outside Diameter = 315mm
-Height = 67.5mm
-Bolt Pattern = 5-100

Phone: 714-554-6162
Email: dan@r1concepts.com

The 1st three buyers who purchase both the front and rear rotors will be given a discount of $50.00. The reason is that I will need feedback from all of you regarding the quality of the rotors to other members.

What about the warranty? No worries. Slam on the brakes as hard as you want. Try cracking them if possible. All rotors will have 90 days full replacement warranty. We stand behind our products and will take good care of our customers.

All R1 Concepts Rotors are certified to meet QS and ISO Quality System Standards. All rotors are manufactured to OE specifications using the same process as the factory does. Black E-Coating is applied to the rotors for a custom look and rust protection.

Brakeworld.com has a direct replacement for our rotors, one piece, cross-drilled. $400ish for the front.

Yeah. and those 2 piece are the replacement for the Brembo Gran Turismo kit, not our Brembo ones.

They are not pictured in the site, but I inquired some months ago, 1 piece cross drilled, about 2lbs. weight savings from the stock rotors.

$200 per rotor is a rip. ESPECIALLY for the rear.

Should be more like $250 for a pair (fronts)....

I'll continue to wait.......

13" Brembo rotors for the Mustang Cobra were just $90 for a while. (until Ford caught on and doubled the price)
