Default 06 WRX brakes on 04 STi

Does anybody know if the 06 wrx brakes are a direct bolt on for the 04 STi? I've been looking for an easy swap to 16 inch wheels for Rally Cross and TSD Gravel Rallies. I did some searches and I am aware of the Alcon setups, but they are too pricey. Thanks!

fronts will bolt on with the wrx rotors, but the rears would require a different backing plate to bolt on the smaller two pot calipers as the bolt spacing/pattern is a little bit different from the two pot brembos in the rear

The fronts are bolt on -

The rears are not - you need a gravel rotor - DBA makes it. (2 pot rotor w/ larger parkbrake setup

I *think* the 2 pot rear caliper will bolt right on.

no need for hubs to be swapped out? I'm happy to be hearing the fronts will bolt right on! just need to swap out front rotor, calipers, and brake fitting?

It'll work on 04 STi's only in front. 4 pots and wrx rotors should be a direct bolt on.

I'm looking to put Brembo's on the front of my 06 wagon ....hmmmm

mebbe we should chat a bit??

perhaps we should I'll let you know when I'm ready for the swap. Do you know what will fit on the rear with the brembos? I thought a 16 would clear?

It's still a pretty big rotor - 320 or so iirc.

If you had 4 pots in front and Brembo 2 pots in the rear you'd be pretty rear biased as well.

Also - 2 pot pads/rotors are MUCH cheaper.
