I need some help & advise.
I live in Canada and we get nasty weather here, so they put gravel on the roads when it snows. Well I had a rock that got into wheel and got stuck between the Brembo callipers and the rim, it made some scratches on my calliper and took some paint off it. (What are the chances of that?)
What should I do about getting it fixed?

PS: You can't see it but I know it's their and it gets to me.

It happens more frequently than you think. Do not worry about geting it fixed because the cost outweighs the benefit.

Thanks.
At least I know that I not the only one....
I know replacing the caliper would coast about $1250 CDN.
I am going to contact Brembo and see what options I have.

Thanks for the feed back.

Default How many of us "Utilize" our cars?

At least you say your scratch is not noticeable.

This guy fitted some rims without knowing the correct offset to clear the calipers, and .... voila!

My dad contacted brembo to find out how much to paint a caliper and it was more than $150. I do not remember how much more but definitely more. Let us know what you discover.

The guy from the pic above was going to get them powder coated... The guy called Brembo, and they said they didn't have that gold touch-up paint...

Ouch. In that case, I would try to find someone who has paint that will match your car, then get all four done. Obviously, if cost is an issue, this may not be an option.

I contacted Brembo USA and they told me that they can't re-paint the breaks and suggested that I take it to a place to re-paint them.

I was hoping for more information or help.
