Default Vibrating during braking at high speeds

Well, my rotors are probably screwed up, but I thought I'd post this just to make sure it couldn't be something or else or completely normal. During high speeds, about 100-130 mph when I lay on my brakes (not to hard but not to soft), the whole car starts vibrating. Pretty easy to explain, is this normal, or do my rotors sound like they are screwed?

Your rotors are probably warped. You can have them machined if they have enough material left, but I would take them to a shop that has the proper equipment to test whether your rotors are within spec. If they are, it could be something else but it's probably the rotors. I had the same problem at VIR this weekend and I'll be replacing my rotors with a set of 2-piece floating hats.

Yeah that's what I figured it was...damn. I don't have the money right now to replace the damn things. I guess I'll just have to bring it in and see if that's what it is.

the thickness should be stamped into the rotor (for safety reasons)

You can measure with a micrometer yourself to see if it is within spec.

If they are thick enough, you should be able to turn them.
