IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | (Copied from my NASIOC post, which is being really slow) Can you overheat brake pads so bad that they never come back? I mean, it has been a couple of weeks since my last set of track days I drove the car for the first time today. I went to slow down for a turn and the brakes barely slowed down the car. In fact the slowed the car so little that I missed the turn. Luckly I could keep going straight and there wasn't a problem. They are in-between pads, EBC Redstuff Ceramic. They have gone through three track days, one autoX and about 2000 street miles. They are soso when absolutly cold, but they should have been a little warm by this point. Before I came to the turn i had four or five slow-to-medium stops before it, they should have been plenty warm. Ideas? I guess they could be cold, but it shouldn't have been that bad.
