Default SS lines and fluid reccomendation for daily driver?

I have 1 driving event scheduled this summer and need to flush the fluid and thought to add SS lines as well. Any places have a good package deal? Also what fluid would you reccomend I would like to not have to change every year although I'm not totally opposed to it, just hard to find the time! I know nothing of lines or fluids what would fit my requirements. Thanks!

i have goodridge coated ss lines w/ motul rbf600 fluid. my car is a daily driver and that combo has worked well so far. some other ss line options are stoptech and cobb. other fluid options are ate and brakeman. there are a lot of fluid options, but it depends on how you use your car. some have higher boiling points and resist compression more than others.

I use valvoline synthetic DOT 4 fluid. Easy to find and works for me. I don't do track days, but autocross all year round quite frequently. Goodridge lines work very well too.

I have goodridge and ATE blue. ATE is much cheaper than the motul, and has about the same heat rating. Its a great mod, one that i cannot live without!

Talk to myles he will set you up with what you need.

Go with any of the big name company's for the SS lines, I'm sure they're all good. Make sure whatever fluid you use has a really high dry boiling temp. If not you very well could boil the fluid leading to brake fade or even failure to be able to stop at the end of a fast section of track. High performance brake pads will probably be a good idea also for the track. The stock pads are a good street pad but I question how they will stand up to track use.

+1 for the goodridge lines and Motul RBF 600. Just got done using these at the track for 2 days last weekend and they did great. I did use Plagid Blues front and back also. The only thing I didn't like about the goodridge lines were they will slide in the piece that mounts to the strut and I hand one to slide up and rub the wheel. I had to pull it back down and put a zip tie on each side of the mount to keep it from sliding.

I am just about to order Cobb SS Brake lines along with Motul RBF600 DOT 4 Factory Line Brake Fluid...that would be a great setup IMO. For brake pads, theres a ton out there, I am looking to get the Hawk HP+ pads...since I will autoX/street the car.

In theory it should only take a liter (2 bottles) but I ended up using 3. I'd buy 3 or 4 bottles if you are ordering it online, I ran out in the middle of bleeding and it was a real PITA, I was very lucky that I found someone relatively near me who sold Motul fluid.

Yeah usually 1L is sufficient but you may want to get an extra to be on the safe side

For daily driven car, I would say DOT4 Valvoline Synpower, it'll last longer than Motul RBF600, in my opinion.... and it's synthetic as well...
