Smile Brake pad fitment

Just a quick question, i have and 04 sti, i need new pads and have found somone selling stock pads from there 06 with about 300 miles on them. Do the 04 pads differ from the 06 in any way, and also, would it be ok to put a slightly used pad on, my rotors are in great shape, no grooves or lip. And when doing the brakes should i rotate the rotors, swith fronts side to side and rear? Any help would be great.

thanks, eric

Oh i tried a search but got nothing so dont yell at me
