They can certainly be a little (or a lot) squeaky at times; but a clunking noise doesn't seem normal to me??

My Brembo's squeak while backing out of my drive-way most of the time. Ocassionally, they will squeak durning normal braking. Most performance brake setups will make some noise.

Clunking (metal to metal) does not sound normal, However. Can you be a little more specific?

Ditto the squeaking @ low speeds, but never any clunking.

No clunk here at all. But I do get the squeaks when backing out of the driveway on cold brakes.

Mine get very sqeaky after I've washed the wheels and they are wet, and also when I back out of my driveway after a cold start. Once I drive about a block or so, the noise goes away in both cases.

7000 miles here, weekend car. Mine squeek too every once in a while. I though the pads were worn, but I checked them and they are still very thick.

I guess that's how Brembos behave.

Mine used to rumble under hard braking... I had the rotors resurfaced when new pads / ss brake lines went on, and the rumble went away. My hawk hps pads squeal a lot now, but I like it The stockers only squealed occasionally in reverse.
