| Junior STI Driver | i have what started out as an '03 wrx and it now has a full sti swap. the calipers are from an '04 sti and the abs is not present. the rotors are brand new ebc slotted and dimpled with new ebc red stuff pads. the fluid is ATE super blue and i also have goodridge stainless lines. at lower speeds the brakes work perfectly, but above 40mph or so, every application of the brakes produces a strong vibration through the steering wheel. just paid a local garage who only works on subarus and is very strongly recommended in the northwest $12,000 for installation of these brakes, and transmission, and several other things. this garage is also who found these calipers and other brake components. id like to autocross soon but with the brakes like this, not a good idea. im hurting for money since i just put $14,000 into my car over the last few months.
