Default PBR XBG Pads

Doesn't seem to be too many people running these pads. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Are they any good?

I picked them up from my local Subaru Dealership for $130.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

jay

Thats a pretty crazy company name.. Hahha. Are they street specific? Did the dealer offer you those as an alternative to the super expensive stock pads?

Yes, I believe they are more of a street pad. The dealer said he would buy these over the Brembo OEM pads as they are just as good, don't dust as much and are a lot cheaper...

However, I was hoping that someone could give me some opinions on them who have actually used them.

I just noticed the TiC street pad for $85 that have been getting great reviews.

I'm wondering if I should take mine back or not??

I have actually been using the PBR Deluxe pads on my car. Picked up both F & R for under $100 from

Minimal dust with the Deluxe pads. Been using them for over thirty years on various cars I have owned. No noise as well.

^ Well this is very good to hear. Especially for a street pad.

XBG are semi-metallic-- looks like these are the "new" Metal Masters.

Deluxe are organic.

Correct-- and the pads were called Repco many years ago
