Default Which brake fluid?

I am getting ready to do my 30K service on my 2007 STi. The car is my daily driver and does not see track use, however I am rather aggresive when it comes to braking. What fluid would you guys recomened? I'm between Brembo and ATE super blue.

Won't make any significant difference in a street application (in my opinion).

Biggest key is simply to flush the brake system each year.

You can even switch between the two fluids. One year, run the blue fluid, the next year run the gold fluid. Makes flushing the system pretty simple as it's easy to tell when the old blue fluid is being replaced by the new gold fluid or vice versa.

By the way, I use ATE's Super Blue and Typ 200 fluids.

I'm sure Subaru fluid would be fine. I've used it only up until my first brake system flush. Then I've always switched to the ATE fluids.

What you're concerned about with brake fluid is dry and wet boiling points. Dry is when the fluid is new and doesn't contain water that has been absorbed from the atmosphere. Wet is when the fluid has in fact been contaminated by atmospheric moisture.

The wet boiling point is going to be lower than the dry boiling point and that's why it's important to do annual brake system flushes. It helps to minimize moisture in the brake system and provide maximum protection against "boiling the brakes" and developing a spongy brake pedal and loss of brake function.
