Default Cquence Rotors

Has anyone tried these rotors? I have yet to hear anything bad about them and I was just trying to confrim this or negate this. The price seems too big to be true so I wanted to confirm here before I purchased them.

They look like a really thin rotor, but since there are no side shots, its to hard to tell. If you look at a good rotor, like DBA, the rotor is really beefy. Those rotors just look really thin and dont look like they would hold up all that well and would probably warp pretty easily. Thats just my opinion, just looking at the pictures they have on their website.

Most things that seem to good to be true, usually are. Spend the money on a good set of rotors and pads.

I don't know, rotors are just a piece of metal that gets worn down. If those are legit then it would be a great deal. Who wants to spend a lot of money on rotors you are just gonna throw away in a few years?

My problem with these rotors, is that they look thin, which with any hard use that almost every STI is put through they will most likely warp pretty easily. I would also guess that the cross drilled ones will crack really easily. Good rotors like DBA's or StopTechs are something like double that cost.

If you think the 47000 dimples do anything but reduce surface area - think again

Yes - rotors are just pieces of metal you throw away. So along those lines you could say...

Tires are pieces of rubber you throw away - so something like General Grabbers are the way to go...

A clutch is just a big brake pad - autozone Duralast ftw...

Oil - it's all the same - stick w/ the stuff at the grocery store.

Brake fluid - meh - use the leftover oil

Seriously though - can you not spot a cheap chinese knock off product when you see one?

2003 STi? Interesting
Fits all models? I suppose it's dual drilled for 5x100/5x114 - that's fine

Don't get me wrong - I sell chinese rotors as well as DBA etc.

But I TELL you they are chinese rotors. And I know what to look at to at least try to identify where they either failed or didn't fail production wise.

It seems the F Body and GTO guys have been having alot of rave about them. I googled them up and I have yet to hear anything bad about them. I might just pick up a set since its at a great price and I need new brakes!

I'd be dubious about some random aftermarket rotors... At work we sometimes have to turn aftermarket rotors because they are "warped" right out of the box.

Just to let you guys know I ended picking up a set of there Ultimate Cross. I needed new brakes and hey at that price why not? I don't track or anything so I figured drilled and slotted be be fine. So far im very impressed with the quality. They appear to be a little thicker the stock. No noise and braking fine. They look sick on my ride as well! Lets see how well the hold up after some heavy abuse =).
