Wooot ppl with the same problem as me. Thought I was like the only when I was searching on the Ferodo DS2500 brakes and everyone said theirs were quite.
They make high pitched squeel only when they are warmed up and when i'm slightly applying the brakes or slowly coming to a stop. If I press hard on the brakes they don't squeel and if they cool they dont do it either, found it really weird.
First time I used the stock shims w/ CRC Disc brake quiet, that didn't work so i cleaned it up, got rid of the shims, put more gunk on the pads instead and had the same problem.

I will try CRC grease this weekend and see how it goes.

I used your technique with the CRC synthetic grease and no shims. Brakes were quiet for a couple of days after bedding them in - only occasional light squeal. After tracking them this weekend, the mofos squeal like none other from 20-0 mph. They started squealing at the track too. Have yours stayed quiet?

A quick update to this thread:

So it seems my pads started squealing again. This time loud, I mean REALLY loud.

Winter is on it's way, so I decided to take the pads out, and put a new set in. This time around I picked up some StopTech-Centric Posiquiet pads from TiC. $85 for all 4 corners, what a deal!

These pads have pretty much the same bit as the stock pads, but barely dust at all, and are completely silent. The only hook is, they are for street driving only. (no track on these)

I figure, this will be a perfect set of pads to get me through the long New England winter, as I don't want to be constantly cleaning my wheels from dust in the cold. Come springtime, I'll put my HP+'s back in, and lube them up again. It seems that the synthetic grease left my brakes squeal-free for a few months.

So far I'm really happy with these StopTech pads. I did not use any grease on them, only the shims that came with them. When I took the HP+'s out, my caliper had tons of grease all over the inside of it. I cleaned them out significantly using a few sponges, brake cleaner, simple green, and a hose.

Actually i have had this problem as well! they break great! great pads but it is annoying/embarrassing that the pads are squeaking everywhere!
What i found to work is to drive while slightly pressing the brakes and on the gas to warm up the brakes, do this for like 5-10 seconds and the squeeking stops.... it comes back when they cool back down but just do this again and problem solved that works for me at least.... as grease just works for a coupld of days...

Yeah same here.... I like the noise. I love modulating the pedal to make them squeal as loud as possible when I come to stop in a line of traffic. Definitly gets the heads turning. I have also had many bystanders comment that I need new brakes. I used to explain, but now I just nod and walk away.
