Question WRX/Forester brake upgrade, advise needed

Hi Guys,

I bought a bbk from stoptech and I'm thinking of selling my brembo brakes. A friend of mine wants to buy it, he will put it in his Forester. However there is conversion needed to do with the 5x100 vs 5x114.3 holes. And to be honest I don't know if the brembo front caliper will bolt on exactly with the Forester or WRX.

Shall I sell him my front brembo kit or shall I advise him to just get stoptech bbk instead just like I did? I don't want him blaming me for fitment problems or potential brake failures due to conversion. Please advise.

P.S. it's not so easy to upgrade here in the Philippines. My parts will take at least 2months before it gets here.

Thanks for any help or advise

The fronts should bolt on....it would be easier for him to just get some 5x100 STi rotors (like the 04 USDM STi).

In the rear he will need an adapter bracket and a special rotor that has the correct diameter for the parking brake drum on the inside. (I *think* DBA makes them)

Lots of guys do this so that they can mount 15" or 16" wheels and rally tires. AFAIK, it should bolt up, assuming you have the correct rotors, etc.
