KW Clubsport Coilovers for 2008 STi

The new Variant 3 is state-of-the-art technology for the skilled and experienced driver. The separate and independent compression and rebound damping options allow a truly individual driving set-up. These unique systems with the 3 individually adjustable components, allows for adjustment of the compression of the damper in the low-speed range, while the highspeed set-up, so decisive for driving comfort, has been preset by our engineers.

-True 2 way. Independently adjustable damping technology
-Rebound and compression damping.
-Inox-line stainless steel technology.
-High-quality components for long life.

These coilovers feature the same inox-line stainless steel corrosion resistant construction as previous versions of KW suspensions. Spring rates are 8kg front and 8kg rear. These are aggressively valved, 2 way adjustable, performance coilovers. These are valved more aggressively then the standard KW Variant 3's that are due out in May 2008.

When do you expect the standard KW 3's to be available? I know you mentioned May 2008, but any date confirmed yet?

I just spoke to KW USA and there is still no set date as to when they are expecting the standard V3s to arrive. It may be possible to have a set special ordered from Germany, but the lead time is probably at least 1 month and the shipping costs would be quite high. Any reason you wouldnt want to go with the clubsports that are available now? The ride quality is excellent and the performance potential is greater if you plan to hit the track.

I'm looking more for a set of coilovers for a street car. Also what is the price difference?

No word from KW USA on the final pricing yet, until parts are ready to ship we wont know exactly but it should be only slightly less than the clubsports.

is the suspesion for an 07 sti the same as an 08 sti j.w might be trading mine in for an 08

No, the front parts may fit, but the rear is completely different. You would surely be better off selling your existing coilovers and putting that toward a new set for the 08.
