Default FS: OR-Portland: Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers for 05-07 STI

Used for three weeks. Minor wear on driver side front plastic bushing and bottom of spring from friction. Otherwise in perfect condition just like they came out of the box from Bilstein.

$1500 shipped. $1545 if you want to use Paypal. $1450 if you are local and don't need them shipped.

What are the rates on both the helper and the main springs?

Also, are they double or single adjustable dampening?

The front main springs are 400#, I do not know the helper spring rate (but it is quite low, and not really a factor since it is fully compressed during almost all driving situations). The rear springs are 285# and there are no helper springs.

They are single adjustable with 9 levels.

I did the install myself. For anything I am unwilling or unable to do myself, I go to PDX Tuning, and they'd probably charge two or three hours labor to install coilovers (you'd have to talk to Jarrad directly for a reliable quote on that, though).

Regards,
Dave

I was using RCE lowering camber plates in the front, and Group-N in the rear (though stock would work just as well, since you are just using the metal parts of the mount).

None. They were only installed for three weeks and all I did during that time was commute to work.

For what I use my STI for, fixed perch makes more sense. Less than a week after I installed the PSS9s, the RB320 kit came out and I bought it. I had been waiting for the RB320 kit for many months, and had given up and decided to go with the coilovers because I was so sick of the OE strut clunk. The PSS9s feel similar to the RB320 setup in many ways, but the PSS9s are adjustable and much lighter, and have somewhat stiffer springs.
