Default Rally Armor Mudflaps - how tight for screws?

For anyone that has these mudflaps, they say not to overtighten the bolts and screws. How tight do you have yours? I basically tightened mine so they can't be untightened by hand but didn't tighten them so much with the wrench or screwdriver that they were completely torqued to the max.

Probably a few turns past finger tight but not to where it starts bending the mudflap in a weird way. Just so it doesn't rattle/vibrate or come loose from driving.

Finger twist tight, not wrist twist tight.

Get the 1/2" drive torque wrench and set her to 75 pound feet.

I broke (well, stripped) one of the plastic U-clips by over-tightening, so be careful with that. RA typically doesn't send replacements but I got lucky.

hand tighten, give it a quarter turn with the ratchet or screwdriver (I cant remember) and add your own loctite for peace of mind.

That is what I did since I had this exact same question when installing mine

I second this.

I've found I can over tighten shit, luckily I found out on other things and not my Sti. Grab the driver with your fingers and get it nice and tight, then you are good. I haven't had any issues.
