Default 22 vs 24 mm rear sway bar on stock suspension

I'm looking to eliminate some understeer. I'm currently running stock tires and springs, and will continue to do so until I really need to change them out. I got an alignment to max out the front camber, but the car still doesn't rotate as much as I'd like it to. Is there an advantage of doing a 22mm sway bar vs 24mm. From what I've read, 24mm may be too stiff for stock suspension? Has anyone tried both?

The car is a street/track/autox car.

When I get ready to upgrade mine, I'm going with this setup, with front and rear set to 'hard'. I've heard good things about it, gives the car a very neutral setup with slight over-steer, and I love the customer service I've received from RCE.

I upgraded tires from stock to Potenza RE71R and it was amazing how much better the car turned. Using track mode and DCCD 2 clicks up I have very limited under steer.

What are you using the car for where you are experiencing understeer? autox, time attack, track?

Get the adjustable 24s and dial it in to your liking. If you ever go to upgraded tires and other suspension bits, you'll find the 22s to be lacking.

So are you saying that if I weren't to upgrade tires and other suspension bits, the 22mm would be better?

If i could do it all over again, sway bars and endlinks would be my first mod. I went with 22mm front and rears on my 11 sti. Both set on medium settings and couldnt be happier with it. The rear bar i feel made the biggest difference.

I picked up the Cygnus understeer kit w/ Super Pro 22mm bar. Looking forward to installing it, it'll be the car's first performance mod.
