The current North American STi is heavier then the JDM car. I have read somewhere (can't remember where) that the JDM car has lighter panals and roof as its the base car for WRC. I would guess this will hold true for the 08 as well.

I just saw the new Impreza with the Aero kit and my god it looks awesome. There were alot of regular Imprezas which looked good but the Aero kit made me feel good about this car. There was a red and black Aero versions and both of them were hot! The red one made me itchy to see the STI in red

Yup. I think it´s the same.

But while I was there I noticed they have some good looking seats. Am I remembering correctly.. the WRX in the US doesn´t have "bucketseats"? This non-turbo Impreza has.

Just a thought...

I´m not telling you guys to believe anything. Of course it´s best to wait until Subaru releases everything... Numbers and information can change and vary between markets of course.

Yes, I went back and looked at the blue car at the ring, and you can see the distortion in the tape covering the vents on the front fenders. This is a nice unexpected little detail.

Btw... Fogs are not standard on all STI´s... some just have the covers similar to the WRC car.
