Doesnt take much of a change though to bring up the corporate average fuel economy and emissions, which means either they cant sell it, or they have to pay more of a tax on it before they are allowed to sell it. That is the main thing holding back power in a lot of cars these days.

The WRX got slightly lighter, hopefullly the STI will too.

EVO X definately got heavier. That's too bad.

I hope suby follows the vette (increase HP + lighter)

1995 = 300hp
1996 = 330hp (LT4 only)
1997 = 345hp
1999 = 350hp
2001 = 385hp (Z)
2002 = 405 (Z)
2005 = 400 (base)
2006 = 500 (Z)
2008 = 436 (base)

Absolutely correct. more like 99.9999%
At the shop we have not recieved any information (writen or spoken) on the specs. They did say that they should be here around Feb. But that is all the District Manager would tell me.

No one knows anything regarding specs. The sales manager here thought it will be around 300bhp without being sure.

They will get their STI´s by the end of january if everything goes smoothly. Hopefully I´ll get this one on my birthday like the last one (white 07)

I did however see a post on the wikipedia saying that they were in contact with a
U.S. Subaru Rep. They said that it should be close to 320 BHP. But again that is speculation. So if it is lighter, shorter, more HP, more Torque = one hell of a rally car lol.
