M3 has more practicality than the 135... but not by much!

aww come on... 135i's cargo = 10 cu ft.... 04/05 wrx sedan cargo = 11 cu ft... not that small. the m3 is hella expensive for its performance though... even for a used one. for that price i would hit a used CTS-V... 400 hp/tq.... $30k for a 2005 used w/ ~20k miles... those things get 600+ whp w/ a supercharger.

Now that I've had a hatchback with fold down seats, and realize how damn convenient it is... it's going to be hard to go back to a sedan...

Before buying my 08, the choice really came down to buying a top of the line mod friendly mid-range brand vehicle or an entry-level high end car that may or may not take well to expensive mods.

I know the 135 will be very vast and strong down low. It makes peak torque at 1400 rpm that is nutts! In the end I went with the STI because I am hooked on awd and turbo's. The hatch and 4 doors is perfict for my family.

The 135i is one fast mo'fo! I still think the 08' looks much better, especially in person. Seriously, I seen one and almost wanted to trade my 07' for one. I'd buy a bimmer when I'm in my 40's.

^^ actually there are now complaints that there is turbo lag until 3k RPM on the new 3.0L twin turbo... seems like the new software update BMW released changed the wastegate duty cycle and created a huge lag....

My buddy has a bone stock 335i.... very nice car, and very quick stock.

We played a little on the highway, and with my AP stage 1 I had no problems walking away from him.

Now if he gets the chip.... I'm toast.

i test drove the 135i and i felt twice my age and like a woman lol, too soft and sissie for me. plus its smaller, slower and the 08 sti looks better in person. ive never seen another 08 sti on the road yet and bmw are everywhere. only good if ur scared of people looking at u and want to blend in. 08 sti is 4-5 seconds faster on a 1 min track too. easy choice with the sti over the bmw any day for me. 48k for a 135i fully loaded was 14k more than i got my sti for.

For sure the looks i hate! its disgusting. I feel like a rich girl just sitting in one, let alone driving one. Not mean enough for my tastes. I mean for the above video, the car is pretty damn fast but not liking anything else... And putting the difference in price between the new 08 sti and the 135i the STI im sure would beat it. Scratch that OWN IT!! =)
