Ok - I don't love it either, but I guarantee it grows on people like the 06 did.

Anyone notice they did all red lighting on the interior? At least they got that feedback right.

I too hate the chrome and the tail lights are simply awful.

I know, and that's what really hurts. I've really liked the STI, and I've found the EVO 8 and 9 to be very ugly. But here's the 10 and it looks great. The 'hip' on this new body, though probabaly as tall as on the new Impreza, doesn't look as bad because the fender flare causes the eye to see it as two parts. Additionally, the roofline of the 8 and 9 was much too high, yet the 10 actually has a taller roof, but the design of the sides makes it look lower. My heart has been with Subaru for a very long time now, but this, above, is an excellent example of car design.

Has anyone mentioned how ridiculous it is that the WRX will have 205/50 tires? My '00 accord had 205 width tires on it.

What?? This has got to be a mistake. Are they TRYING to kill the WRX? Maybe they are, and plan to mainstream the STI. Then they'd only have two trimlines rather than three.

This hurts, really and truly hurts. I have always had a place in my hart for Subaru, not sure why but I always have. When they brought the STI over in '04 I new I had to do what ever it took to get myself one.

Now I see this. It has no passion, no corrector, no personality and most of all it just plain looks like a$$. If they had just given it some fender flares it would have helped a lot. I have never liked Mitsubishi, but they really hit the nail on the head and gave their customers and car enthusiasts in general what they want. Props for Mitsubishi and big big thumbs down for Subaru!!!

One can make a hatchback look cool, and they just plain didn’t.

I don't think that matters since the tires that come on the WRX have always sucked anyway.
