50lbs weight savings might not sound like a big deal, but considering the 08 will have a stiffer chassis, along with the usual safety enhancements of newer gen cars not to mention a longer list of standard features makes it all the more admirable. Not too many cars get LIGHTER with each generation. Thumbs up at least on paper

If this really is the new Impreza WRX, man did they ever **** this damn car up sideways. Not only have Evo X sales increased but the resale value of previous impreza year models will be going up i'm betting.

Sorry i'm a big fan of the rex but theres no way i'm digging this hyundai hybrid rally car direction they want to go in. Do. Over.

I like it!

I wish they offered a 3 door instead but for a 5 door it doesn't look bad.

i think it is alrite...the new design is a lot cleaner than the current impreza...but that grill is ugly.

i'm excited to see the new sti...i also think the difference (performance and looks) between the wrx and sti will be greater than it currently is.

The same things were said about the 06-07 model...

Then it grew on everyone.

It still won't be release for another 5 months or so, a lot of time to design.

I like it too. Lose the chrome on the grill and it is pretty nice. One of the nicer hatch designs. Can't wait to see it in STI trim. Giddyup!

I'm trying to like it but I just can't. It's absolutely horrid And for the record, the 06 didn't grow on everyone. I still think they're ass ugly too. JMHO. We'll see what they do with the new STi but I'm not expecting to like it.

its slowly growing on me. i hate the fact the taillights look like those "altezza" ones. Maybe this car will look better in person than in pictures. only 4 more days.
