gah It seems it is real, I dont mind the rest of the car. It just something about the front, looks like a kia or something. The interior does look pretty nice though.

Like many of you, I am not a big fan of what we have seen so far of the new Impreza. But, I prefer to take a more analytical point of view, at least until the actual revealing.

Point 1 - Subaru is in business to sell cars. If they sell more cars, they make more $$$.

Point 2 - It is a known fact in the auto industry that the USDM is not a big fan of hatchbacks. There are far fewer hatch designs sold in the US than in the rest of the world. Therefore, to sell Imprezas in the US, Subaru will need to offer more than just the hatch.

Conclusion - The WRX and RS are available in wagon and sedan form. Perhaps the hatch will replace the wagon only, and we will still have a sedan. One of the arrays of "photos" shows a pretty clean looking sedan. Put that over a STi drivetrain and I'd buy it (if it was fast enough).

We'll all know in a couple of weeks anyway.

Those features are only available on the limited UGAYBRO edition of the 08 STi.
