i love how the 06 looks.
It's real. Motor Trend has been holding the photos until it's official release at the NY autoshow.

I wonder if Subaru has people looking through Subaru forums such as this one to gauge reactions from Subaru enthusiasts?

That doesn't make any sense. Why would MotorTrend print fake photos in their may edition if people will know what it will look like at the NY autoshow?

Why would they release it when the NY auto show hasn't happened yet? Not to mention all the other Japanese and Euro car mags that have claimed to have the new pics for the past several months.

I'ma agree with you on this one. This has got to be some twisted **** over at Subaru trying to mess with our heads. I hope April 5th won't disappoint me and every Subaru enthusiast. If this happens to be the real thing, i'm going to drive my '05 to SOA headquarters and ram as many engineers and designers that had a hand in building that fugly thing.

Whatever that is, I am just praying and hoping that is not real. IMO they are getting worse every time they come out with a new design. Although, I thought the 06+ were ugly at first, it has really grown into me, but I still do not prefer the newer models, no offense to anyone with 06+.

This edition of MT is the May version, it's not out yet. This is the press for it's official debut.

i think subaru needs to hire some people with some good styling ideas. i have no idea why they would approve of crap like this. come on guys. the evo x looks way better than this POS inside and out with awesome new technology to boot with it.
