Yes Sir, COUPE

I saw a picture of a black Mazda Speed 3. Oh wait, it has STi labels on it. I am Confused. Oh wait its just another derivatively styled prototype for an 08 Subaru. Silly me I should have known.

I am anxiously awaiting the world debut of the USDM STi, but I am really worried its going to suck.

ok.. so looks aside.. let's talk power.

according to an article linked from nasioc, the UK are no longer getting the sedan impreza, but only the na wrx hatch, with the STi being released much later. this being due to fines by the government.
i'm going to assume that the EU penalities for high emissions is far greater then in the US.

that said, we basically get the same models as in australia. and sometimes,.. if we're lucky, limited editions from the UK. ie, wr1.
there were rumours on a local car magazine site that we'll be getting a 247kw (313hp) wrx version, which may be higher in certain markets. if true, the STi is going to own.
