get the wide band.. a narrowband is nothing more than a light show. the AEM wideband will actually give you AFR's also.

Don't go with AEM. They have high failure rates and can't read as a wide of a range as other wideband controllers. My vote is for Zeitronix.

Zeitronix is a great wideband, but I enjoyed my AEM as well.

LOL. Buy AEM because this guy has it and it couldn't possibly be bad! Prove to me that "AEM is one of the best," and that it's "right on the money."

...or you could talk to professional tuners about how unreliable it is. Or you could look at the specs and see that it can't read as wide an A/F range as others.

I based my statement about the AEM WB on both experience AND professional tuner's statements, not because of what I own.

prove it .. how wide do you need?? makes no sense.. .. name names!.. let's read the opinions of the "tuners".. Based on MY experience and the "professional tuners" that I have been involved with on my cars, the UEGO is a good gauge.. Who are YOU to refute my statement that AEM UEGO is the way to go.. Are you the god of wideband gauges? get a life .. and a gf maybe if you swing that way. let me guess.. you're voting for Obama? ignorance is bliss..

Haha that is so pathetic. Name names? Mike from Synapse, Eric from Hybridynamics to name a couple tuners that give the AEM unit a .

By the way, I'm EXTREMELY ANTI-Obama. You're the one using the typical liberal argument of "You're stupid, I'm not."

And if I can't refute you're statement, then what makes you able to refute mine?

We'll let the original poster be the judge.

Hey, you guys might want to cool it b4 the mods see this going on and slap you both.

OP, do a search, I myself started a couple of threads on the subject, asking the same question. A lot of people ended up recommending the LC-1, which is what I ended up getting. To answer your question, I'd say go with the wideband, because it gives you a more detailed reading. The Narrowband can just pretty much tell you if you're at 14.7, above or under, while the WB will give you an exact AFR value.

Also, search for WolfPlayer's WB O2 sensor vs. Stock O2 sensor analysis, I believe there's a link in his journal.

Good luck!

All that nonsense about this tuner that tuner means nothing.. My peronal experience with the UEGO has been good. IF it was as bad as you say, I think i would have a bunch of blown motors.. ..

I'd liked my Zeitronix as well, wish I kept it from the sale of my last car. lcd screen is a very simple and uncluttered for boost, afr, and egt all in one.

I was using AEM UEGO...hmm, only for six months, then the lambda-sensor died.

It was mounted in the downpipe, 4" after the turbo...
