| S204 Racer | i can only comment on the springs that are on my car, and they handle pretty good (for what they are, just springs); Swift sport springs. but... then you'll find out that the stock struts/shocks are the weakest link, and you'll be making plans to replace those soon enough ![]() J. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (7) | I had Tanabe GF210 springs on my 2004 sti before I went to JIC coilovers. Great springs imo. Lowered the car enough, but didn't sacrifice performance like most springs will. Spring rates very close to stock as well so your struts won't die in a month. Not sure how they are on the 2008 though. But I will always recommend just saving the cash and going with a full coilover kit any day of the week if you really want your car to handle well. -Ryan |

| Junior STI Driver | Got Cobb Sport Springs installed on my car with stock shocks. Love the looks and handling has improved over stock by 100%. No issues with camber and toe. They drop the car only 7/8 of an inch, and are designed to work with the stock shocks.10% stiffer in the front, and 20% stiffer in the rear. ![]() Make sure you cut the bump stops, and let the suspension set for a week or so before doing and alignment job. Why bother with the coilovers, stock shocks Good luck |

| Grassroots STI Racer | In seeing that I'm not at all interested in dropping my car, I would however LOVE to have some springs that are a good bit stiffer. In addition to some mild swaybars I think it would be a good combination with some Ohlins type shocks. |
