| Junior STI Driver |  Front Jack Point for 08 STI..where is it? Folks, I know the rear jack point on the 08 STI, but what about the front? I see two possible places, and I have already used one of them. The fist one I see potential for is right behind the plastic shroud (where oil pan is located) towards the rear. Looks like cross member for suspension or something. The second one I see, and I have already used without issues, is some cross member behind part of the transmission. Please let me know which one you think and include pictures please. I have seen the pics for previous years but I would like yo see this year. I think this would help a lot of people since the manual does not show this, nor does the shop manual from techinfo. Thanks! -K This ad is not endorsed by this member. | STI Driver | Re: Front Jack Point for 08 STI..where is it? Digitalfiend posted a pic of the front jack point in the thread I gave you... BTW, you need to search rather than start threads. As per that drawing, the front jack point is the crossmember, IOW the plate directly behind the plastic shroud. |
