Miles Per Tank

Just curious for the 08 Sti. How many miles do you guys get per one tank of gas, on average?

I drive fairly aggresively... but I fill up when the low light comes on, every time.

I can get about 250 miles before the light comes on, which is still a few gallons before empty.

I fill up at 1/4 each time, i get any where from 225-240 miles on that

Same for me - light comes on anywhere from 250-280 miles for normal driving - all highway driving gets me to about 300 before it comes on. But if we really have a 17 gallon tank that light comes on with 4 gallons left...

I do 75% city driving and get about 270. The car is bone stock.

wow 300 thats it? if driving conservatively you should be able to get up to 350 on highway and 285 city driving. but im guessing you dont drive conservative the WHOLE time. im going by how big the tank is by the epa numbers of 17/23 city highway

Did you read the post? We are talking about mileage until the low fuel light comes on. I then went on to say that there is four gallons left in the tank when that light comes on. 300 miles on 13 gallons is 23 mpg, another four gallons would yield ~390 miles on the tank if you wanted to pull a Kramer and run it til it stops. This is all highway driving at 80 mph. I don't drive conservatively the whole time - if that is how I wanted to drive I would have purchased a civic.

That, and I don't think anybody is getting 23 on the highway, even... unless they're going 55MPH...

I actually do at 80 mph if the AC is off and the windows are rolled up. AC takes it down to 22.

Sigh freaking articsun set the bar way up for us all that are messing round with getting good gas mileage.

I can see 300 out of a tank without much problem. Long as i drive it like i am on freaking on egg shells.

Its funny to have maintained 26.1 or so then just say **** it swap to sport # and hammer down and then look up and see the gauge thingie at 24.9. Btw i know the gauge is not that accurate. Its at least .6 off each time i fill up.
