250-280 driving more aggressive until the light comes on. I've hit 320 all highway miles.

I wouldn't put it that high, self-calculated I get best maybe 30.9. While the display will show 32.

Anyway, its certainly interesting, and I love these conversations (and boy do they seem to be spread out, and in new forms...like this thread). I'm a college kid with no job prospect and it only makes sense for me to maximize mileage since its probably my largest expense.

One day I'll take a video for you all and show you how I drive on a daily basis.

I guess my next question is... Why buy a car like this, if all of your driving is like that, to save gas? You should have bought a Civic!

Why not? I had a 96 civic after I had an accident with my 05 STi, and it was glorious, all 40mpg of it. Alas, it was a little too crappy

This car offers extreme fun when I need it and great refinement and relaxation the rest of the time. Whats the need to blast along at WOT all the time? Also, I'm never in a rush to get anywhere, so driving 55 is just a by-product of that.

Nice, I can get 275-300 in my truck, but honestly I would much rather have power and speed than good milage, lol
