I haven't done this myself, but, is the manufacturer reputable? What are they offering you?

I would recommend you get everything in writing and have them hold themselves liable if your car runs into any issues as a result of their parts and/or labor. Also throw in a clause for attorney fees if you need one as a result of their part and/or labor causing any issues with your car.

+1 on that. Have to be more careful now after seeing all this threads about 2.5L engine issues. SOA will now keep a close watch on this.

Depends how reputable the manufacturer is. I've done testing for 2 companies now, but only because of their large rep and personal experience I knew there wouldn't be any issues

I entertained the idea with magnaflow a couple of years back with my 06 STI. They wanted to use my car for a few days to test fit a CBE. When I asked them to put in writing that if they damaged anything they would be responsible, they got cold feet and didn't call me back. I also have entertained letting AEM use my 08 STi to test an intake until they told me that they needed my car for a week. It doesn't seem worth it to let them do dyno pulls on my car for a week for a $200 intake so again I passed.
