Default Rally Armor Mudflap issue

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum but I've got a question regarding my Rally Armor Mudflap basics. After purchasing the basic set non UR's, and installing them, it appears that my front flaps aren't resting flush against the fender. I will try and get a pic up tomorrow but has anone experienced this? Is the bracket supposed to sit behind the fender while the flap sits in front? Does anyone else have a gap between the fender and front flap?

I can speak on the UR set, but the bracket fits on the fender tabs behind the plastic splash guard inside the wheel well. So when you're all done, the clips (brackets) are not visible.

I do, and I'm trying to find out if anyone else does, but for some reason no one wanted to respond in this thread.

Either no one else bought the cheap ones or no one likes me .
After looking at them the next day I realized that's just how they're made. Wonder if fit is better on the UR's?

RA Mudflaps Installation Problem? (pics)

Looks like the same problem you described. Also IIRC the different flaps from RA are all made the same way, just different materials used. BTW if you contact RA directly, they have excellent customer service and can help out even the most "technically challenged" individuals.....

Guys, I don't mean to sound like an arse but have you tried contacting RA? They really seem to be responsive and are interested in customer satisfaction. Give them a hollar and see if they can help you guys out.

Thanks man. The flaps in his pic look exactly like mine, after reading through the thread I plan to try Rally Armour's suggestion and retighten.
On a side note, just took my Suby camping and the flaps held up great! Nice mod for $55 bucks, I may have to get the UR's, didn't think I'd like the basics this much.
