JDM Rainguards...who has them and what do you think?

I really enjoyed the look and function of the Rainguards on my 02 WRX Wagon and am interested in purchasing them for my 08.

I am hoping that the on-line pictures DON'T do them justice. I know the design had to change with full-framed windows but they look bulky and seem to have too many sharp angles in comparison to the previous style.

Anybody have these installed and have some pictures to share along with your thoughts about how they look?

I have them installed on my 05 but they are mostly for looks. They dont really stop rain or anything because they are so thin that they barely get far past the line of the car. I love how they look on my car and thats what I bought them for. I dont have pictures but there are some thread on here that have close up and different angled pictures you can check out. Also I havent seen them on the 08 so this opinion might be totally worthless.

I want a set but I haven't seen a picture of the 08s. Loved the 02-07s, real thin, yeah probably not as effective but good enough to leave your windows partially cracked and not worry about the rain if you park outside. Who's selling them? Can someone post a link?

I can't say that I agree with that but it does change the design & look of the rainguards. I actually like the more solid feel of the doors....but still getting used to having enough headroom to have someone sitting on my shoulders as I drive down the road!

I swa them on teh Harman site and am tempted....but have yet to pull the trigger. No 08 owners with them installed?

I do agree, that the rattle when closing, and the wind noise was substantially greater...

I just thought it looked "cool" when they were open!
