*help needed* foglights on but not headlights

another help me question.
how do i rewire my fog lights to turn on and only the fogs stay on? instead of also needing the headlights to stay on also?

did you buy the foglights after? i would just suggest to take it to the dealer to rewire. good luck.

I know there was a thread about this earlier and that there was some link to NASIOC.com where some guy jumped the relay to defeat this idiotic "safety" feature.

As for why you would want to do this? Easy, so the fogs can do what they're intended to do, cut through the fog WITHOUT the glare caused by the headlights. It is still beyond me how this law was ever passed but I know in Cali, it's illegal to drive with only your fogs. I assume this law was passed 'caused punks were trying to front in their honda/acura by driving only with their fogs/driving lights.
