Default To Custom Paint or Not?

I'm thinking of custom painting my 08 OBP STi.. I really like the Lamborghini pearl paints. IMO, Lamborghini and other supercars pulls off these colors because of its wide body and intimidating nature. I think the 08's body has the same character. The front and hood scoop is very much a like with 575 Maranello. And, the butt is close to Murcielago's(wide and low)?

Here are my choices:
Pearl Green
Pearl Orange
Pearl White

What do you guys think? Which color perfectly defines the body of the 08?

White cars tend to hide body lines... so that's out.

The orange would look a little strange, because it would just look like a F&F wagon...

The green? I don't think I'd have the balls to try it... it would definitely stand out.

If anything, and think a nice candy brandy-wine or other deep red would be sweet!

I think silver shows the body lines very well

I would go with orange. With the addition of some nice aftermarket wheels and some engine mods, you could probably get your car shot in Subiesport mag.

I wouldn't do it man. That's a lot of cash to throw down for something that ultimately hurts the value of your car.

If I was going to paint mine, I'd do it flat black.

I would never paint a car unless it needed it. But if you have the money and thats what you really want do it. But before you do it just remember that all that money that you're putting into a brand new car with a brand new paint job you could be putting that money into performance parts.

Maybe you could just shoot some clearcloat with a red sparkly crap (glitter?) over the OBP...I think that may look nice. Just an idea and it wouldn't leave the obvious transition of bright color to OBP in your engine bay etc...
