Mud Flaps on 08 STI

You guys interested to install mud flaps on your 08 STI (or other STI)? What color you guys like?
I have a blue STI and I am thinking of red mud flaps. What you guys think?

I purchased the RA mud gaurds with red lettering to go with my DGM

I understand the functionality of the mudflaps and if i had a new sti I would 100% have purchased them as well to protect my investment. But not for nothing guys the flaps look disgusting. Subaru or someone else really needs to release a nice molded/color matched flap that looks decent. These RA flaps look like they belong on an 18-wheeler, lol.

couldn't disagree more

but then, I bought Subaru because I'm a big fan of the WRC - AWD has absolutely no real purpose where I live.

But to each his own!

I ordered some factory mudflaps from the sti catalog i got from my subaru dealership.
They couldn't tell me if they would fit on the STi but i'm wondering if anyone else knows?

thanks for the heads up, i had a feeling about that. I hope they come out with a version for the STI

I like the RA but it's just too bold for my taste, do you know if their is anything else out there on the market ?

I will agree that the RA flaps are a bit out there (pun intended) but their aggressive shape is VERY functional and have yet to see an OEM guard that comes close to the protection afforded by the RA. For my use, it's nice to be able to drive through a bit of standing water not have to worry about the spray right after I've washed my ride. That, and the paint protection, made the RA a no-brainer for me. The fact that SOA recognizes a paint issue and actually PAID for my flaps makes them an even better mod.
