April 2008 Closing sales :

Mitsubishi

–32% at 8,878 (4/07: 12,047)
Subaru

12% at 16,771 (4/07: 13,786)

Brand = 2008 Year to date (Jaunary-April)
Mitsu = -17.7%
Hyundai & Kia = -4.1%
Mazda = +1.3%
Suzuki = -2.4%
Nissan = -1.3%
Toyota = -3.3%
Honda/Acura = +1.5%
Subaru = +1.6%

Some of these numbers you have to keep in check though for overall, such as Toyota being down 3.3% for 2008 overall, they still sold 200,000 cars alone in April.

Seems like our "wagons" are doing Suby just fine, and they won't be going away anytime soon

Looks like there is more than just great gas mileage that sells a car.

I feel bad for mits. Evo is a good track car but it just doesn't compare to the Sub in every other area. Anyways EVO and STI are a tiny fraction of those sales numbers anyways.

Do people really still say that? I will say I don't like hatches but I won't say they aren't selling.

Yeah, it's moderated better here of course, but nasioc is abundant with trolls on both sti hatches and wrx sedans haha

Awesome numbers..
only thing that bothers me is that these numbers are only for the US.
over here, I'm already feeling outnumbered. Other than my STi.. I havent seen any other STi.
