On hot days my IC sprayer makes a big difference. It is quite noticable after sitting at a stoplight on a 100F day and taking off. It is also quite convient for meth too...

are there aftermarket IC sprayers that can automatically spray when the IC reaches a certain temp?

Easy. For the same reason they didn't paint the I/C with the STi logo. $. Subaru is a business, and like any business their goal is to include only those features which customers will pay extra to have.

Without the I/C spray the oil temp would shoot up to 115 deg C but with the I/C spray that I press at every straightaway the oil temp will only be 110 deg max. I wanted further cooling so i bought the JDM auto I/C spray and just left it constantly on during a session, the oil temp drops down to only 105 deg.

our stock I/C spray tank isn't big enough though, it only last about 10 minutes and every track session is about 20 minutes long.

You may want to look into a boost referenced IC sprayer. With mine set at 5psi i can get through a 20-minute track session with a tiny bit of water to spare.

My view is, no matter what. If you spray water on hot metal that is cooler than the metal. Then there will be cooling, especially with wind involved. IMO

Doubtless true. The original question remains unanswered nevertheless.
