Damn. The more tests I see the more I'm starting to consider adding a CAI to my stage 2 plans. It seems the '08s really take well to CAIs (with tuning). Is that a fair assessment?

So far my plans are DW650cc injectors, larger fuel pump, TBE (still waiting on a divorced w/g design DP; looks like MadDad just released one), CP pistons, and now likely a CAI.

I can't say it's so much a CAI thing, vs just having a proper solution. We went through quite a bit of thought and design concept to get to where we are with it.

Also, I'm historically known as a "conservative" tuner.... so just imagine in someone else's hands?

Crawford Performance also has an 08 STi divorced DP. Although it is not EWG design. Thought you may want to check it out.

Wow. Thats impressive. I noticed it mentioned the boost tapered down to 14.5psi. Perrin runs their stage one to almost 15 at redline IIRC.
What A/F are you running at redline and is that exhaust catted? Not a huge fan of the single tip's, but that's the best sounding one I have heard yet.

As has been noted numerous times, in spite of their advertising, that's not a real divorced down pipe, because there's no separate pipe for the WG, just a divider.

Hi George. Sounds great. Talked to you a few weeks ago. Are you developing an exhaust with 4 tips like the stock look (or similar to Harman?).

Thanks

That has been a HOTLY contested item, internally.

Everyone has been torn. Ultimately, we went with what would make THE most power at first.

We will most likely make a quad tip setup for you guys.

AFR's are right around 11.8-12:1.

This is catback and Intake only, no downpipe?
Also, any plans for a single exit?

That is using a TurboXS downpipe with our cat back adapter. If you want to get an idea of what that setup does, look up TiC's posts on their '08 STI.

We have a single exit already made up for the '08 WRX's.

You can see the details at the following link:

Ah ok that's what I thought (with the dp)
but i don't get why you're mentioning the single exit for the rex's, unless you're indicating the piping will work with the STi too?
