008STI where did you get that black mount that the gauges are in. i really like that. I dont want to get rid of the clock and fuel consumption, also considering the a-pillar mount with maddad gauges. But i would rather have them in the middle like you do. Did you make that black mount or did it come with the gauges, or did you buy it separate? Thanks

Hi, the black mount is from ebay, glowshift gauges iirc. It's just a generic mount but seems to work well. I was also considering mounting the gauges using their own individual mounting holders, but then they would not be as adjustable, and it would block the clock unit display. Right now the gauges are at the perfect height to also allow viewing of the clock/temp/fuel consumption. I'm very pleased with the results. Matches nicely to the stock lighting also.

The OEM boost gauge looks pretty nice, but it is not cheap though. It is a perfect match IMHO.

I like the clean look of a single boost meter over triple meters. I can get the rest of the readings from my AP if want to.

Here is what I did with my Nexus gauges. Unfortunately the guages are not quite hooked up so these pictures don't show them illuminated but I think this looks pretty cool. I had a Perrin Pod in my Legacy GT that I was hoping I could use in the STi but it covered too much of the main cluster - a temperature gauge is important too! You will notice that I have a Dashmat installed on the car which made this installation easy as the wiring for the Nexus gauges is hidden under the dash mat. The two gauges on the cluster visor are attached only with industrial strength velcro and the AFR mounted on the column is mounted with a screw. I decided to go with the cluster visor mount after seeing the JDM boost gauge which is mounted on the cluster visor. All in all I'm very happy with this install. I used the Vumaxx pods that I found on Egauges.com. The pods are made of ABS plastic and have a shiny black finish. I painted them with flat black Krylon paint designed for plastic and the finish now matches the interior black perfectly. The silver bezel on the Nexus gauges ties well with the silver interior trim. Let me know what you all think!

Ive started making a fiberglass mold replace the top of the gauge shroud like Punksti. It will have 4 gauge spots and when its done, I make the final peice out of carbonfiber.

I also started making some individual pods like the Zero sports but IDK if I'll finish those. I havent had much time to work on this project so we'll see when it ever gets done.

That's a pretty neat guage position.

Anyone know where to get the JDM gauges with the "hood" over it. They attach on the sides of the dash.
