My car had 70km on it when I took delivery. It's really left a bad taste in my mouth. I took the car anyway because, as I've whined about before, there are no DGM cars left in Western Canada and I wanted the car.

But I'm pissed off.

sweet i got mine sideways going down the street two days ago... my buddy said that is not normal for a AWD as his jaw was still on the ground... i had to laugh...

I have a roundabout near my house, I was wondering how this car would handle it. Now I know and don't have to try it for myself.

well,,, when i bought my car, the dealer needed to do a "dealer trade" with a dealership in OH. When I asked about a truck delivery, the dealer did not agree saying that the truck delivery can do more harm than good since there are chains and such that can potentially damange the car and that they're liable if the car gets damanged. I said, OK, you know, it's only OH to IN but I specifically told them that I wanted to drive the car here, not the delivery guy. So, when the day arrived, I went to the dealership in OH with the delivery driver( 70 year old dude) and brought my car back. The dealership told me that they typically hire old retirees so that they don't joy ride customers cars
When they suggested that they would send a driver to pick up my car, the thing I was most afraid was that the driver would use the cruise control on the highway, but to my guess, the first thing the old timer did when he got on the highway with the forester was flip on the cruise control and cruised most of the way there 60mph.

i heard a BOV as well, but just to add my opinion.... its the owner doing the donuts, not a driver from the dealer.... i paused the vid and looked, hes got plates front and rear, and they're under a plastic frame..... i dont know of many dealers who will put an actual plate on the car, under the plastic frame, just to deliever it elsewhere..... alot have plates w/ magnets they can just stick on the trunk, or the use of a temp tag would work.....

Just my opinion though
